Mobility scooters: the rules
When it comes to mobility scooters, there are some rules enforced by the UK government that could affect which one you buy.
Only certain scooters can be driven on the road, for example. If you need to drive your scooter on the road, perhaps due to where you live, then you should consider class 3 invalid carriages. If you’re 13 or younger, however, you’re only permitted to drive class 2 invalid carriages.
