For some reason we missed this when it was released. Celebrating the beautiful classic that was the Berlinette – this outrageous, Veyronesque take on the Alpine 110 for a new century stikes us as French as Truffaut.
Wether or not it bears any aesthetic or spiritual resemblance to the original which, we reckon, is possibly the prettiest car ever to come out of France – we care not.
There’s a world of difference in every way imaginable: except that the concept encompasses the aesthetic encoded in the French way of being in a car. And for that, we applaud Renault.
