Watch Team BRIT drivers Luke Pound and Andy Tucker detail how they overcame adversity to become two of the most talked about drivers in the British Endurance Championship.
They are two of the drivers racing for Team BRIT this year who are aiming to be the first ever team of disabled drivers to compete in the Le Mans 24 hour series, but their current aim is to gain ground in the British Endurance Championships drivers’ standings, with the team currently 17 points behind leaders RNR Performance Cars.
There may only be two rounds left of the championship this year, but both Pound and Tucker, along with their Aston Martin V8 Vantage GT4, have made a huge impression on their competitors this year and are aiming to inspire fellow racing fans with disabilities.
Our film follows the duo as they open up about how they overcome personal challenges to become the racers they are today.
Who is Team BRIT?
Having launched with just one car and two drivers in 2015, this year Team BRIT will enter four cars across three championships, providing opportunities for eight disabled racing drivers, including in the prestigious British GT Championship and the British Endurance Championship.
Their cars have been fitted with the team’s cutting-edge racing hand controls to enable their drivers to compete on equal terms with competitors that do not have a disability.
